A graduate of the Radio Broadcasting program at Humber College, James always saw himself in the broadcasting field. He loved listening to the art of play by play announcing growing up. One of his all-time favourites is Bob Cole. He was able to do some of that himself. James served as a play by play announcer for Humber College's Varsity teams and hosted "The Humber Sportsdrive" on 96.9 Radio Humber in 2011. He was able to learn the ropes of radio news as an intern at our sister station in Toronto, CFTR 680. He has been a part of the 570 NEWS team since October 2015.
James was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Waterloo Region in 2009.
When not in the newsroom, James enjoys playing rec. league floorball, watching and playing hockey, going to the gym and reading.
