Heat warning continues in Waterloo Region

A heat warning issued by Environment Canada for Waterloo Region and much of Southern Ontario continues today.
Daytime highs are expected to reach low 30’s with humidex values expected to be reaching 40 degrees or higher
These temperatures are expected to last until Monday night.
The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
They are also reminding people to never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
