The three major party leaders fan out across the southern province Thursday, as the June 7th provincial election draws closer.

Liberal Leader Kathleen Wynne will be in Ottawa this morning before heading to St. Lawrence College in Kingston, and ending her day in Whitby to meet supporters.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath plans to hold campaign events at a Toronto subway station and a GO Transit station in St. Catharines before taking questions from voters via Twitter.

And PC Leader Doug Ford will be making a couple of local appearances.

Ford is set to appear at Capri Pizza in Cambridge for an announcement at 1 p.m., and will then attend an evening rally at Bingemans in Kitchener.

That’s not the only politically-fueled event happening in Waterloo Region today.

The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce will host two all-Candidate Forums at the Galt Country Club.

Candidates will be given 10-minutes to speak about their party’s platform with members of the business community, and they’ll then take questions from the floor.

Today’s event will cover Kitchener-South Hespeler, and will be emceed by Chamber President – Greg Durocher.

It starts at 9 a.m., with the Cambridge Candidate Forum happening Tuesday, May 29th.
