K-W Oktoberfest announces new venue ahead of 50th anniversary

Some ’wunderbar’ news for our Region’s biggest Bavarian Festival, as K-W Oktoberfest has announced a brand new venue for this year’s milestone event.
The big announcement came out of Kitchener on Wednesday morning, as LOT 42 on Ardelt Place has been named ‘Oktoberfest Haus’ for the 50th anniversary of the nine-day festival.
The newest accredited Festhalle will host the upcoming Miss Oktoberfest Gala Ball, and the annual Rogers Women of The Year Awards.
The venue will be able to hold over 5,000 people, and tickets for celebrations at LOT42 officially went on sale this morning.
