Former Rangers forward Azevedo wins KHL championship

Justin Azevedo has won the Gagarin Cup with Ak Bars of the KHL.
He was also named MVP.
Rob Klinkhammer’s power play goal in the third was enough to give Ak Bars a 1-0 victory over CKSA in game 5 of the final series.
The 30-year-old Azevedo played with the Kitchener Rangers from 2004 to 2008. He racked up 124 points during the 2007-08 season.
