Kitchener convenience store robbed

Police say two suspects made off with cash and cigarettes after a robbery in Kitchener.

It happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at a convenience store in the Max Becker and Activa Avenue area.

Waterloo Regional Police say the two men brandished a weapon, took the items and then fled on foot.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Police describe the two subjects as black males in their early 20’s with a thin build and grey and black clothing.
