The Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating one of its drones which has gone missing.
The OPP say one of its operators was conducting a test flight of the Unmanned Aerial System in a remote area of Southwold Township, Elgin County on Wednesday afternoon following a software update.
At around 2 p.m., the operator reported a malfunction and a loss of communication with the drone and line of sight.
The OPP say it is conducting a radius search of the area and are asking if anyone who has seen or located the UAS (similar to the one pictured) to contact them.
