Two people charged in road rage incident in Woolwich

Regional Police say road rage was a factor in a collision between a small electric bike and a giant 18-wheeler.

This happened Tuesday afternoon on Victoria Street North in Woolwich Township.

Police allege the truck driver, a 69-year-old from Stratford, deliberately cut off the 50-year-old Kitchener man riding the tiny bike, forcing him off the road.

He suffered only minor injuries, and Police say he has been charged for operating a vehicle while under suspension, and for doing so without insurance, or a permit.

The trucker, however, has been charged with Dangerous Driving, having no brake lights or turn signals, and having no insurance card.
