Bill Cosby’s accuser takes stand

By

It’s a story she’s waited more than a decade to tell.

And now, Andrea Constand has finally gotten the chance to describe what she says happened between Bill Cosby and her.

Constand was on the stand yesterday describing how the comedian violated her after giving her three blue pills that he said were her “friends” — but left her in a stupor.

Constand told the jury at Cosby’s trial near Philadelphia that while under the influence of those “friends,” she couldn’t get her hands or legs to move — and that she was “just frozen” as Cosby both touched her genitals and tried to get her to touch his.

Constand added that she just “wanted it to stop.” Cosby is charged with drugging and sexually abusing Constand at his home in 2004. His lawyers have tried to poke holes in her story, pointing out differences between what she said in court and accounts she gave to police and in a 2005 lawsuit.

Constand will continue under cross examination today.
