Man dead after small plane crash near Kitchener

A man is dead following a plane crash about 15 kilometres southwest of Kitchener, in the township of Blandford-Blenheim.
OPP say following a search from the Joint Co-ordination Centre and members of a search and rescue team from Canadian Forces Base Trenton, they were able to find a small engine monocoupe aircraft near a private airstrip on Township Road 12.
Following an initial investigation, the lone pilot was pronounced dead on scene.
He has been identified as 67-year-old Raymond Taylor of Norwich Township.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada tells 570 NEWS that they’ve deployed a team of two investigators to figure out what happened.
