A 21-year-old Brampton man has been arrested in connection to 19 break and enters that happened in the University district of Waterloo last month.
Waterloo Regional Police say the majority of the thefts happened in student apartment buildings on Regina and Phillip on March 26th.
Many of the residents of the buildings were home sleeping at the time of the break-ins and the man gained access through unlocked doors.
Police allege Harjit Bhatti would act drunk or confused when confronted to avoid people calling police.
Police have released photos of Bhatti and believe that there are more victims connected to the break-ins.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
Police also remind you to lock your doors when you are not home or when you go to bed at night.
