Police investigate multiple armed robberies in downtown Kitchener

Regional Police are reminding us to use caution when walking alone at night after multiple armed robberies in downtown Kitchener.

Police say the first incident happened Wednesday just after midnight at Joseph and David. A 25-year-old man was walking alone when he was approached from behind and robbed at knife-point by two white males in their 20s.

The next morning around 1 a.m., a 19-year-old man was walking alone at Joseph and David when he was approached by four males and stabbed multiple times. The victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Shortly after, a 24-year-old man was approached by four males — one of them wielding a knife — but was able to get away uninjured.

Suspect #1 is described as a white man, in his early 20s, around five feet tall with a thin build, and was wearing a black sweater, dark jeans, and dark shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as an Asian man, in his early 20s, around five foot seven, with an average build and black hair.

Suspect #3 is described as a white man, around five foot nine, with a normal build, and was wearing dark jeans, a black winter jacket, and a dark toque.

Suspect #4 is described as a white man, in his 20s, around five foot seven, with a thin build, and was wearing a red jacket with light running shoes.
