Seven from Guelph, Cambridge arrested in multi-jurisdictional drug trafficking network

Police in Guelph have made a string of arrests relating to what they call a “a multi-jurisdictional drug trafficking network.”

Seven people in total from Guelph and Cambridge were arrested yesterday on drugs an weapons charges.

Police also seized $90,000 worth of methamphetanmine, cocaine, herion and MDMA.

Police also recovered a MP15 restricted assualt rifle, a taser, several replica handguns, an prohibited knives.

Guelph Police say the investigation began in November of last year.

Waterloo Regional Police Cambridge Drug Unit also assisted in the investigation.
