Ontario Glove shooter denied parole

A man convicted of murder in one of the most chilling crimes in Waterloo’s history has been denied freedom by the Parole Board of Canada.

Patrick Dombroskie, who was 28-years-old at the time, walked into the Ontario Glove Factory near Conestoga Mall in February 1992, armed with a gun and began shooting.

When he was done, three people were dead: 39-year-old Greg More – the company co-owner, 33-year-old supervisor Larry Strack and 43-year-old co-worker Elisabeth Travassos.

CTV reports, the brother of one of the victims says he was denied day parole and permanent parole following a hearing this week in Kingston.

Dombroskie worked at the plant and was described as a disgruntled employee.

He was convicted on three counts of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
