A nurse accused of killing eight seniors at two long-term care homes in Woodstock and London is scheduled to return to court today.
The arrest of Elizabeth Wettlaufer in October rocked the communities, especially Woodstock, where 7 of the alleged killings took place.
The 49-year-old is charged with eight counts of first degree murder with police alleging she used drugs to kill her victims over a seven year period between 2007 and 2014.
It was during that time she worked as a nurse at the facilities.
She is being held at the Vanier Centre for Women in Milton.
The alleged victims ranged in age from 75 to 96 including 84-year-old James Silcox, whose daughter, Andrea, vows to be in court for every one of her appearances.
