World Teachers Day: 15% described as ‘inspiring’ in social media campaign

Wednesday is World Teachers Day and the Ontario College of Teachers have released the results of their social media campaign.
Inspiring (15%), caring (7%) and kind (5.5%) were the words Ontarians used to describe their favourite teacher who encouraged them to work harder, reach further and achieve more.
World Teachers’ Day is an international celebration of educators.
The occasion recognizes teachers must be empowered to build quality education and sustainable societies.
