One person sent to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Guelph

Police say 20-year old Uriah Hartung of Guelph is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Guelph.
Police responded early this morning around 1 a.m. to the intersection of HWY 6 and College Avenue.
They say, 25-year old Lea Ramos of Newmarket was the driver who was travelling Southbound on HWY 6.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Southbound lanes on HWY 6 between Wellington Street and Stone Road were closed for five hours.
Wellington County OPP continue to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
