Severe thunderstorm watch has ended for Waterloo Region

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for Waterloo Region.
The national weather agency warned that we could see severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening– which are capable of producing strong wind gusts, heavy rain, hail, and intense lightning.
The severe thunderstorm watch was also in effect in Mount Forest, Arthur and Northern Wellington County.
