Curtis Henri pleads guilty in hit-and-run death of Grace Glofcheskie in Guelph

The 21-year-old charged in the death of Grace Glofcheskie has pleaded guilty.

Curtis Henry pleaded guilty to seven charges in Guelph court, including criminal negligence causing death after a hit and run in December 2015.

Curtis took off from a RIDE check in a stolen vehicle. He hit a light post, and then hit the 24-year-old Glocheskie, who was walking home.

The vehicle was found abandoned.

Glofcheskie was a University of Guelph student, who was a member of the golf team.

“She was a bright light,” University of Guelph Associate Vice-President of Student Affairs, Brenda Whiteside told 570 News.
