27-year-old charged in connection with child porn investigation in Guelph

A 27-year-old is facing multiple charges in connection with an investigation by the Guelph Police Technological Crimes-Child Exploitation Unit.
Police say as a result of a peer-to-peer file sharing investigation, a search warrant was executed at home on Fieldstone Road on Thursday. Through their search, multiple computer systems, external storage devices and other articles containing child pornography were seized.
27-year-old Paul Langis of Guelph faces numerous charges including possession of child pornography, making child pornography available for distribution and accessing child pornography.
Langis is scheduled to appear in court on August 16.
