Two-way traffic on Erb begins in Uptown Waterloo

There will now be two-way traffic on Erb between King and Caroline in Uptown Waterloo.
The change is a result of feedback the region received from local businesses. The Region says the change will allow for easier access to businesses in the area as well as another access and parking option for visitors.
Motorists traveling down King Street towards Erb will be able to make a right-hand turn onto Erb and then a left-hand turn into the North Parking Lot located beside the Atrium.
In order to make Erb open to two-way traffic, Albert will be closed with no access from Erb.
Once the work at the Erb and Caroline intersection is complete, Erb will revert back to a one-way street.
