A strike involving 130 social service workers in Guelph and Wellington County is over.
The workers, members of CUPE 4325, have ratified a new contract with Family and Children’s Services and will be back on job on Monday.
They went on strike close to three weeks ago, frustrated they had been working without a contract since March of last year.
The new deal is for three years and runs through the end of March 2018.
The union maintains the strike was not about money, but rather dealing with provincial cuts.
