Damage is estimated at $100,000 after a fire broke out at the Waterloo residence early this morning.
It happened at a home on Carrington Place and Waterloo Platoon Chief Rick Steinman tells us they responded to the call at just after 5 a.m.
The back deck was fully engulfed in flames, which were quickly put out.
All seven occupants got out safe and the fire did not extend into the home.
The cause is being investigated, and the fire department says there is no reason to believe it was suspicious.
