Christmas in Cambridge kicks off

Music, lights, skating, games and more. Christmas in Cambridge has something for everyone this Christmas season.

Christmas in Cambridge has grown into a month long festival over the last 13 years. There are seven main activities, with a family New years eve party to end the celebrations.

Lisa Freund is Recreation co-ordinator of Special Events and says one of the most popular events is the Phil Kline’s Unsilent night which includes a 45-minute walk in the downtown core.

“The core is illuminated with over 30 different light installations and we ask everyone to bring a speaker or smarthphone and go to unsilentnight.com, download the free music and play it throughout downtown!”

Freund added that they are one of the largest unsilent night events in the world.

ChristmasinCambridge.ca has more information regarding dates and times of all the activities scheduled.
