Cambridge intersection remains closed after fire at ‘The Hopper’

The intersection of Lowther and King Street in Cambridge remains closed after a fire broke-out at The Hopper building on Friday night.
Police say it happened just before 8pm at the Cambridge building, which features The Hopper bar on the main floor and a rooming house on the second floor.
Officials say at least eight people have been displaced due to the fire, and that the Red Cross is offering them assistance.
Lowther Street South will remain closed at King and Queenston until Monday.
No details have been released on what caused the fire.
