Waterloo Region will stand in solidarity with France during it’s time of mourning.
Mayors Berry Vrbanovic and Dave Jaworsky will co-host the event, joined by Regional Chair Ken Seiling and Waterloo Regional Police Chief Bryan Larkin.
It was also announced today that Paris Deputy Mayor Patrick Klugman will be partaking in the service.
Residents are being asked to bring their own candles.
