“The first gold was amazing, I couldn’t have been happier with winning the first gold of the games that was possible for me…” McClintock tells 570 News.

The 25-year-old says it was a roller coaster ride because the overall competition didn’t start well.

The other gold came in slalom and the silver medals were won in jump and tricks.

“It’s amazing to have the support of family, friends and fans…You can really feel the energy out there on the water and I’ve had some of my best performances in Canada…”

Her brother Jason also won a silver in the slalom competition.
