Guelph mother and daughter caught shoplifting

A mother and daughter have been charged with shoplifting at a Guelph mall.
On Monday afternoon, Guelph Police were called to Stone Road Mall because of two female shoplifters – but before police arrived – one of the women ran away.
The 18-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.
Her 39-year-old mom was arrested a short time later.
Both have been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.
