The Kitchener Rangers have made a trade with the Niagara IceDogs for defenceman Brian Brosnan.
The Ilderton native put up 12 points in 53 games with the IceDogs last season. He also had four points in the playoffs.
Niagara receives Kitchener’s 4th round pick in the 2016 OHL Draft and their 5th round selection in 2018.
“Brian will be a great addition to our back-end and will provide the team with veteran leadership. He played very well last year down the stretch and in playoffs for Niagara.” said Rangers General Manager Murray Hiebert.
