Conestoga President’s Term Renewed to 2018

John Tibbits has had his contract renewed for three years by the board at Conestoga College.
He’s been President and CEO of Conestoga Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning since 1987 and the board says that his new agreement extends through to August, 2018.
The board’s chair Frank Boutzis said in a release that the school “has flourished under John’s leadership,” and that “his tremendous knowledge and experience will play an instrumental role” of Conestoga’s success.
Tibbits says that there are exciting opportunities ahead for Conestoga College.
Before coming to Conestoga, he held senior administrative positions at Dawson College in Montreal, Touche Ross & Partners in Ottawa as well as Canada Post Corporation in Ottawa.
