Would you 3D print new eyes instead of getting glasses?
Italian designers have unveiled a concept for a bio-printed synthetic eye.
They say the enhanced retina could increase vision to make images sharper.
And signals can be filtered to the brain to produce vintage or black and white effects.
It’s currently just a concept, but the designers say it could be available by 2027.
