Reaction to the Ontario Government’s $131.9 billion budget

“Premier Wynne’s budget sells more than just Ontario’s public assets, it sells false choices,” says Labour Council President Marc Xuereb. “She is telling Ontarians to choose between public transit and public hydro; municipal infrastructure versus adequately funded hospitals; good jobs or a balanced budget.”
“It’s all good news for Cambridge and North Dumfries” says Kathryn McGarry, Liberal MPP for Cambridge. “It’s a responsible investment in infrastructure, in employment, in education. That will strengthen our communities as we work towards a balanced budget.”
