Rangers blanked by Soo in final game of regular season

The Kitchener Rangers were shutout by the Greyhounds 3-0 in Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday afternoon in their final game of the regular season.

Kitchener sat many regulars including Ryan MacInnis, Max Iafrate and Jake Paterson.

Brandon Halverson only needed to make 18 saves for the shutout as the Hounds held a 37-18 advantage in shots.

The Rangers finished the regular season with a 32-26-3 and 7 record.

The focus now switches to the Knights who they will play in the first round of the playoffs.

Game 1 goes Friday in London with the pre-game show beginning at 7pm on 570 News.

The first game of the series at The Aud, Game 3, is set for Tuesday, March 31st at 7pm.
