Three face charges after two police officers were assaulted on Sunday

Three people were arrested and charged – after two police officers suffered injuries from an assault this past Sunday.
Police say they were went to an apartment on King Street North to a check well being investigation.
During the course of the investigation, police say three people were contacted and tried to block police.
Three people were arrested following a brief struggle – but in the process, police say two officers were assaulted.
Police say alcohol is factor, and all three have been charged with assault and obstructing police.
