Waterloo Regional Police seize $33,000 worth of cocaine & 19 guns, three men arrested

Three men from Waterloo Region are facing charges after police seized $33,000 worth of cocaine (22 ounces) and 19 guns.

Police say it is the result of an investigation into the illegal drug trade and drug activity within the area.

On Wednesday, WRPS officers executed search warrants at residences located on Waterloo’s Cavelletti Court as well as a residence on King St. in the city, Bridlewreath Street in Kitchener and Branchton’s Maple Manor Road.

Here’s a breakdown of what police seized:

  • 22 ounces of cocaine, with a street value of $33,000.
  • 1 ounce of cannabis marijuana
  • six handguns, two shot guns, 11 long guns
  • one conducted energy weapon
  • ammunition
  • Canadian currency
  • hydraulic press and cutting agent

32-year-old Joshua Chabot of North Dumfries Township; Brandon Pfeiffer, 28, of Kitchener and
49-year-old Peter Whitby of Waterloo were arrested without incident on Tuesday and are currently charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and are in custody.
