Canadian arrested in drowning of boy, 4, in St. Lucia

A Canadian has been arrested after a young boy drowned while on a kite surfing ride in St. Lucia, local police said.
Terrel Joshua Elibox, 4, was being given a ride by a kite surfer at Bois Chadon beach in Vieux Fort on Sunday when he fell off and went under the water.
Police said they found his body nearby on Coconut Bay Beach around 6 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
St. Lucia News reports the man allegedly took the boy against the wishes of his guardian.
There is no word on charges.
