A fire forces the evacuation of an apartment building in Guelph.
The fire department says no one was injured in the blaze on Silvercreek Parkway.
Officials say when they arrived on the scene Tuesday, smoke and flames could be seen pouring out of a top floor apartment.
Two Guelph city buses were sent to the scene to shelter displaced residents.
The cause remains under investigation and there is no damage estimate yet.
It’s not clear when residents will be allowed to return to their homes.
