Police investigating after a stabbing in Guelph

An 18-year-old was taken to hospital Friday after reportedly being stabbed and police are appealing to the public in their investigation.
It happened just before 5:30 yesterday evening when the victim, a University of Guelph student contacted police saying that he had been attacked by an unknown male.
Police say so far this appears to be an isolated incident and ask anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact them.
