The Kitchener Rangers have acquired defenceman Thomas Welsh in a trade with the Mississauga Steelheads.
The Steelheads get Kitchener’s 9th round draft pick in 2016.
Welsh played eight games with Brock University last season. In 2012-13, he had three points and 42 penalty minutes
in 29 games with the Steelheads.
