Two teens plead guilty to New Year’s Eve vandalism spree at the Woolwich Memorial Centre

Two teens have pleaded guilty to a massive vandalism spree at the Woolwich Memorial Centre in Elmira on New Year’s Eve – a rampage that caused more than $100,000 in damage.

Since the two admitted to the vandalism and have since received counselling, they were sentenced to 18 months probation and community service.

The judge also imposed a curfew on the two, who were just 13 at the time.

The Record quotes the judge as saying, “What in the world could they have been thinking?”
