Christie brings TIFF festival a sharper focus

A local company is in its 14th year as the official projection partner for Toronto’s International Film Festival.
Christie, a world leader in advanced cinema technologies brings the 39th annual TIFF festival a sharper focus with 4k resolution.
Spokesperson for Christie Digital Systems Canada, Dorina Belu tells 570 News how they have developed over the last 14 years.
“Our technology has been at the forefront of all of the TIFF premieres. I mean first with 4K, first with 3D and when 2K resolution was coming out. So, that was you know, Christie’s positioning in terms of always bringing the most innovative technologies to the screens.”
Belu adds six of the major venues at TIFF will have 4k resolution projectors.
