Gun allegedly seen in attempted robbery of Cambridge teen

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly pulled out a gun on a Cambridge teen.

The 16-year-old teenager was walking along a path from Chandler Drive to Westmount Road East in Kitchener around 8 pm Wednesday when he was approached by a group of males.

Regional police say one male allegedly brandished a handgun

Nothing was taken from the victim.

 

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 17 years old, 5’6″ tall with an average to thin build. He was wearing blue shoes, black shorts, a red shirt and a red winter style hat with blonde/brown knappy hair coming out the back of the hat.
