Guelph transit lockout into second week

It could be viewed as a sign of promise in the lockout at Guelph Transit, which is into its second week.

The city and union representing drivers will meet later this week.

In a news release issued Monday, the City’s Chief Administrative Officer says they believe there’s a way to end
the lockout and get Guelph Transit running again soon.

The union says they want to keep serving their community and any step to move them towards that goal is one they are willing to consider.
