Two vehicle crash closes section of WB 401 in Ingersoll

A section of the Westbound 401 in Ingersoll was closed earlier this morning after a two vehicle collision that happened around 3:30 this morning.
The highway was closed from Culloden Road to Putnam Road for about five hours, after a crash in the westbound lanes, shortly after 3:30 a.m.
The crash happened between and a car and a motorcyle, and the driver of the motorcycle was sent to hospital with serious injuries. The other motorist was not injured.
Police are still investigating what happened, and have not said whether or not charges would be laid.
