Kitchener woman suffers life threatening injuries in crash

A Kitchener woman is in hospital with what Regional Police describe as life threatening injuries after a collision in Cambridge.
Police say the 25-year-old woman was driving a car that collided with a tractor trailer late yesterday afternoon.
Police say she was attempting to turn left at the corner of Hespeler and Maple Grove when her vehicle was struck by the big rig.
Police say the driver of the tractor trailer suffered minimal injuries and was treated at the scene.
The investigation continues and police have ruled out alcohol as a factor.
