Video game Rocksmith 2014 teaches rock fans how to play guitar

Have you ever wanted to be a rock ‘n’ roll guitar player like Slash or Eddie Van Halen?
Music reporter Rudy Blair spoke with Jeff Stinco, guitarist for the Juno Award-winning band Simple Plan, about Rocksmith 2014 — a new video game that can teach you how to play guitar.

Blair also interviewed Lars and Anna, two Toronto contestants of the national Rocksmith Challenge. In the contest, four people play the game for 60 minutes a day for 60 days, and whoever is more successful in developing their skills wins $5,000.
