Former Rangers net first NHL goals in Leafs-Canes tilt

It’s a night two former Kitchener Rangers won’t soon forget.
Josh Leivo of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ryan Murphy of the Carolina Hurricanes both scored their first NHL goals last night at the Air Canada Centre.
Leivo’s goal coming in the second period. Murphy scored on a slapshot in the third, former Ranger Nazem Kadri was serving a penalty, and Jeff Skinner assisted on Murphy’s first.
Carolina edged the Leafs 3-2.
