Drug investigation in Guelph leads to five arrests

Five people are facing drug charges after search warrants were executed
at four residences in Guelph and one in Fergus.

 

The Guelph Police Drug and Intelligence Units were assisted by Waterloo Regional Police and Wellington County OPP.

Police seized $100,000 worth of drugs along with weapons and cash.

List of those facing charges:

– 28 year old Brett Roland, Guelph. Charged with possession for the purpose,
two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.

– 26 year old Nicole Giddy, Guelph. Charged with possession for the purpose,
two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.

– 33 year old Scott MacDonald, Guelph. Charged with trafficking, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession for the purpose, three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

– 26 year old Sean Restelli, Guelph. Charged with seven counts of trafficking, possession for the purpose, two counts of possession of a controlled substance
and aggravated assault.

– 31 year old Kevin Bartholomew, Guelph. Charged with three counts of possession for the purpose.
