A bizarre incident at a Kitchener coffee shop ends with one man in custody.
Waterloo Regional Police say they responded to a report of an unwanted person at the business at Ottawa Street North and River Road yesterday morning.
Police say a man had barricaded himself inside a bathroom stall.
Police say the man eventually surrendered without incident and no one was hurt.
A 38-year-old Kitchener man was taken into custody on several charges including carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
