Rangers roll to 7 and 0 at home

The Kitchener Rangers improved to 7 and 0 on home ice with a 3-2 victory over the Steelheads on Tuesday night. It was also Kitchener’s third win in a row.

Radek Faksa scored the game winner. Matt Puempel scored his team leading 13th goal and rookie Justin Bailey notched his 5th.

Franky Palazzese made 27 saves for his second straight win.

The win also moves Kitchener within three points of the first place Owen Sound Attack.

The Rangers host the Greyhounds on Friday. Don and Mike will have the pre-game show at 7pm on 570 News.

Meantime, Kitchener will be featured on Rogers Sportsnet’s Friday Night Hockey on Friday, November 30th when they host Windsor. It changes the game time from 7:30 to 7pm.
